allows us to install Windows 7 Professional AND
Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business on one of
the computers that we refurbish. If you'd like to
help a deserving student, simply click on the below
GoFundMe image. No amount is too big or too small!
Thanks!
LTBTL is dedicated to one
goal: making sure that eligible students have the
technological resources needed in order to succeed in today's
high-tech school environment.
LTBTL is a
Microsoft Registered Refurbisher.
As our site grows, it will
outline how we are taking in used computers and other PC equipment,
refurbishing it, and installing it in the homes of low-income
families who's students attend the Hoover City School district.
If you have a computer, or
computer equipment, such as an LCD, aka "flatscreen", monitor (sorry, we can't use CRT - tube type -
monitors), that you would like to give* to LTBTL, please send an
e-mail to
info@learningtobethelight.org
. We will pick it up,
destroy any data on the hard drive, and refurbish it for the use of
an eligible student. If you'd rather drop it off, you may do
so Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 4 pm at the
Artists on the Bluff
office (formerly the Bluff Park Community School), located at
571
Park Avenue, Hoover, AL 35226. If you have any restore
disks that came with the computer, please include them. See the
